I posted a couple of months ago about an easy rooting process that works with most devices and you don’t need a computer to proceed with the method well now there is a more recent process that is a simple one click apk app that works for most devices as well. This process works for more of the newer devices with 4.1 and newer (older devices as well) and is very safe to try.
First you can download the apk from this link but you can also just Google framaroot 1.6.1 and find other links to the newest version of the app.

Once downloaded just install and open the app you may need to go into your settings first and enable unknown sources that you can install on your device.
Once opened make sure install super su is selected and press gandolf exploit and that’s it your device is rooted!!
Simple as that!! Once device is restarted you can again as in the other rooting methods go into the Google play store and download the root checker to verify the root on your device.

on tablet with 4.1.1 is not showing gandalf option it ask to update and it`s not working.
if there is no exploits listed in framaroot after you install and run the application then your device isnt compatible with the app. i would recommend you try the poot method i also have posted. it should be the first post on my website. if poot isnt compatible as well than email me the specifics of your device and i will assist you in rooting your device using the device specific rooting method. more than likely that method will require a pc though. thank you for the support and im sorry you are having difficulty if you need further assistance email me at

I’ve tried all your methods for rotting my phone. Im starting to believe its impossible to do. Please help, i have an LGMS76910e Metro Pcs.

There should be a device specific root almost every device has a rooting method specific for that device ill just have to do a little research to find it. You will probably need to use a pc to proceed with the root though. With most device specific rooting methods a pc is required.

Be sure you have usb debugging enabled and uninstall framaroot and reinstall most issues people are having with framaroot are because they forget to enable usb debugging in the developer options in the settings of the device. If you try that and you still get an error message it means that framaroot isnt compatible with your device. If thats the case than be sure to email me and ill assist you further in rooting your device a different method.
